I am interested in coral microbiomes, their ecological biodiversity and the importance of probiotics (beneficial microorganisms for corals BMCs) for corals conservation thanks to their capacity of competing against coral pathogens.

Currently I’m focusing my work on understanding the metabolites produced by corals associated bacteria, specifically to investigate their chemical nature and how these important molecules might be involved in inhibiting the spread of certain coral diseases.
