Research Interests

My research currently focuses on identifying antagonistic factors to improve coral holobiont health thereby potentially preventing coral bleaching. I am especially interested in factors affecting nitrogen pathways like nitrogen fixation and denitrification. To study a potential beneficial effect of these factors, I am investigating the coral holobiont as well as the
coral physiology under temperature stress.
