Research Interests

The focus on my current research is on the seagrass microbiome and how its manipulation can affect seagrass growth, survival, gene expression, metabolite expression, and photosynthetic functioning under baseline and stress conditions. I am also interested in exploring how new seagrass monitoring and restoration programs can establish robust, efficient and accurate methods to assess the health of their local seagrass habitats.
