Research Interests

Characterize the zooplankton and phytoplankton assemblages in Red Sea habitats (coastal lagoons, reef areas and coastal waters). Population structure of zooplankton communities. Associate biological patterns (plankton and macrofaunal assemblages) to environmental conditions in the Red Sea (high temperature, high salinity and low nutrients).
