Inês Goncalves Raimundo

Past members

Ph.D. Student

Research Interests

With a strong background in biology, marine ecology, microbiology, and biotechnology, Ines is particularly interested in marine bacterial communities, their ecological and functional role in marine environments, and their biotechnological potential. She is currently doing her Ph.D. and it will involve the study of the diversity and ecology of marine ultramicrobacteria across distant and different marine environments with the aim to explore and unveil more about these intriguing tiny organisms, their morphology, ecology, and potential biotechnological applications.
