Biography

Lilian is a visiting researcher and a postdoctoral fellow at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (Brazil). She's been working with coral reef symbiosis and cell biology for 10 years and has over 12 years of experience with microscopy techniques (e.g. FISH, TEM, HR-SEM). More recently, she has been studying the interactions between prokaryotes and corals from different environments (i.e., deep sea and shallow waters).
