Biography

My research interests encompass marine ecology, restoration ecology, experimental ecology, biological oceanography, and coral reef conservation. With 30 years of experience in coral and marine fish cultivation, I am focused on comprehending the effects of climate change on marine organisms, particularly the impacts of heatwaves and acidification on coral physiology. Investigating probiotic microbial consortia to enhance coral resistance, exploring microbial ecology, developing and designing innovative experimental and bioassay systems, and devising effective conservation strategies, including public policies, are central to my work.
