Biography

My interests lie in researching Vulnerable Marine Ecosystems to inform their conservation in the face of rising anthropogenic pressures. During my master’s research, I mapped biodiversity gradients of deep-water corals and sponges along the southwest Indian Ocean ridge. Additionally, I am interested in the coral microbiome and its role in enhancing coral resilience in the face of climate change.
