I am particularly interested in developing strategies for the delivery of probiotics to corals, aiming to enhance their resilience against environmental stressors. My research also focuses on the ecological biodiversity of coral microbiomes and their role in coral health. 
At KAUST, I will be working on coral samples collected during a recent bleaching event, focusing on corals with distinct bleaching phenotypes. I will analyze these samples over time to assess their recovery, energetic status, and overall response to heat stress, providing insights into coral resilience mechanisms.
