Research Interests

Ahmed is interested in learning more about the relationship between marine microbes and corals. Questions such as how microbial interactions help in the adaptability and survival of corals interest me in particular. His goal is to help discover more about these interactions to shed some light upon the microbial world in the seas and, more specifically, in the Red Sea.
