Representing the KAUST Marine Microbiomes Lab at the Trends in Marine Host-Microbe Symbioses (#TMHM) Symposium were Matteo Monti (postdoc), Marco Casartelli (PhD student), Pedro Cardoso (PhD student), and Professor Raquel Peixoto, who highlighted the many ongoing research projects to restore reefs through microbial stewardship and coral probiotics.

To note that the symposium was co-organized by Professor Peixoto (KAUST) and Maria Elena Martino (University of Padua), and aimed to catalyze discussions on the latest technological approaches to studying complex marine interactions.
