Following the successful "Corals, Coasts and One Health" Nature Conference, the Marine Microbiomes Laboratory, and Ronell Sicat, the scientist representing the Visualization Core Labs, hosted the conference keynote speakers for a high-tech immersion session into some of KAUST's reef restoration research, showcasing them the 3D Coral Probiotics Village (CPV) VR.

This technology allowed the field experts to see the scale of our field experiments in a way that traditional presentations cannot match, as they were able to navigate in the Coral Probiotics Village. 

The Nature Conference speakers, representing leading institutions from around the globe, praised the integration of AI-assisted reef monitoring and immersive data science, and the showcasing served as a blueprint for how interdisciplinary collaboration can provide "Blue Technology" needed to safeguard coral ecosystems.
