A new documentary has recently been released featuring the research conducted by Professor Raquel Peixoto and the Marine Microbiomes Team.

In the documentary, Professor Peixoto discusses the research conducted at KAUST to develop new technologies and techniques to monitor and restore coral reefs and to counterbalance the effects of coral bleaching. Prof. Raquel highlights as well the importance of public education and outreach in protecting coral reefs.

The documentary is also a great way to learn more about other ways to protect these vital ecosystems for future generations.
