Prof Raquel Peixoto, took center stage at COP29, delivering two impactful talks that highlighted the critical role of youth leadership and innovative solutions in safeguarding our oceans.

In her first presentation, "Youth Leadership and Expert Perspectives on the Future of Coral Reefs," held at the Blue Zone, Prof Peixoto emphasized the urgent need for young voices to be heard in addressing the challenges facing coral reefs.
