Our Post-doc, Dr. Barbara Ribeiro was one of the two Winners at the prestigious Falling Walls Lab competition. Her research work around coral restoration techniques and innovative solutions along with her fantastic communication skills have earned her the opportunity to participate in the KAUST international Falling Walls competition.

The Falling Walls Lab competition is a platform for young scientists to present their research and ideas in a concise and compelling manner where competitors are challenged to deliver a three-minute pitch that highlights the potential impact of their work on science and society.

By securing a top spot in the Falling Walls Lab competition, Barbara will be representing the university at the international Falling Walls competition in Berlin, representing and showcasing KAUST's commitment to fostering innovation and supporting the next generation of scientific leaders.
