Marine Microbiomes Lab represented at ISME19

The Marine Microbiomes Lab represented KAUST at the International Society for Microbial Ecology (ISME) 19 conference, in Cape Town. The lab's team members showcased their groundbreaking research through poster presentations and a captivating oral talk.

Representing the lab at the poster sessions were Giovanna Sabini-Leite, Adam Barno, Laura Beenham, and Erika Santoro and their posters delved into various aspects of marine microbiology, highlighting the lab's contributions to the field. Meanwhile, Barbara Ribeiro delivered an oral presentation titled: "Coral probiotics found and enriched in reef sponges microbiomes", showcasing the lab's innovative research approaches and their potential implications for marine ecosystems.
